My motivation to lose the weight was to feel better, stay healthy, and prevent any future medical issues. I had tried to lose weight on and off for a long time, but never really had success. Once I signed up on VFL.com, I found the accountability is what I needed to lose the weight and stay on track. Before VFL.com I didn’t think I was eating that much and it was easy to think “Oh, I can eat that. It’s not that bad.” But now when I log my food, I realize what I am eating and able to keep on track.
One thing I changed in my diet was my portion sizes. VFL.com taught me what to eat and provided me with the information I needed to make a good choice. When I first started logging, my calories from fat were always high. But now, I have learned to make better choices and my fat calories are under control. My goal each day is to stay under the Allowable Total calories. Some days I find that I don’t even eat all of my calories for the day. Another thing I have changed is consistently eating breakfast. This has also helped me to lose the weight.
I’ve also added weight training to my daily exercise routine which also includes 35 minutes on an elliptical machine each morning. But since adding weight training and the Access Bar, I have had better results. I have even been able to gradually lift heavier weights. And with the Access Bar, I find my energy levels during my workout have improved. Overall, I have more energy and the workouts don’t seem as hard. I then finish them off with the ProFlex 20 Shake.
The best thing that I have learned with VFL.com is how to eat properly. VFL.com has taught me how and what to eat. I find it is easy now. You just have to stick to the plan. Some weeks I barely lost any weight, and others I lost more. But that didn’t matter; I just kept going, worked hard, and have lost 35 pounds and reached my goal weight of 180 lbs, and will continue to use VFL.com to help me maintain that weight.
Thank you very much VFL.com. Great program!
